Our luxury self catering Rutland cottage, The old Stables is a newly converted stables and barn that has been sympathetically restored and is now a modern light and airy living space for anyone who wants to get away. Whether travelling for business or pleasure, with a partner or friend this self catering cottage is a haven to which you will want to return to again and again.

Situated in Glaston, which has its own church and pub/ restaurant our holiday cottage is just 6 miles away from the beautiful shores of Rutland water and we are surrounded by an array of unspoilt villages and the attractive market towns of Uppingham (2 miles) and Oakham (6 miles). So, whether you are looking for a holiday, weekend break or short golf break, or if you want to walk, cycle, sail or just get away for a romantic break then we have the ideal place in a great location which has it all, then we would love to welcome you as our guests.
